Join our dynamic IT team as a senior leader where your expertise will drive the successful implementation of cutting-edge SaaS applications and pivotal internal IT projects.
As the Project Manager, you'll take charge of planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. Your mission is to steer and manage the deployment of innovative SaaS solutions and critical internal IT initiatives.
This exciting role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure the seamless rollout and enthusiastic adoption of these transformative technologies.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to - Project Planning, Project Vendor Management, Resource Allocation and Management QA Testing, and Change Management -

  • Craft comprehensive Project Initiation documents by supporting stakeholders in developing compelling business cases.

  • Develop detailed project plans by creating schedules for SaaS deployments, identifying tasks, dependencies, and resource needs.

  • Coordinate resource allocation by working with internal teams to assign roles, responsibilities, and establish project timelines.

  • Monitor and communicate progress by tracking milestones and providing stakeholders with regular updates and RAG reports.

  • Facilitate seamless vendor collaboration by liaising with SaaS vendors for solution configuration, integration, and testing.

  • Align vendor and internal activities by ensuring vendor efforts are in sync with project objectives and timelines.

  • Be the central point of contact - managing communications between the organisation and SaaS vendors, addressing issues and escalating concerns.

  • Strategic resource deployment by collaborating with departmental managers to allocate resources for SaaS projects.

  • Optimize workload balance by managing resource availability, balancing workloads and prioritising tasks for efficient execution.

  • Support and guide teams by providing guidance to internal teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with project goals.

  • Develop robust test plans by ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of SaaS solutions through rigorous testing.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by working with stakeholders to validate that solutions meet business requirements.

  • Resolve issues promptly by addressing and resolving issues identified during testing, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for improvements.

  • Create effective training programs by developing/sourcing training materials and conducting sessions to ensure successful user adoption of new SaaS solutions.

  • Implement change management strategies by collaborating with stakeholders on strategies and communications to prepare the organisation for change.

  • Provide ongoing support by offering continuous assistance to end-users during and after deployment, ensuring a smooth transition and sustained success.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an IT Project related qualification (PMP, Prince2, Six Sigma)

  • Proven experience managing IT projects (SaaS deployments) with a focus on Internal Resource Management.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, architectures, and deployment methodologies.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
