Full Job Description

The EUC Analyst role will be part of a team providing support and maintenance within the organisation's desktop, laptop and mobile computing environment.
Role accountabilities

  • Provide all Support Centre and Mobile users with IT support to ensure continuity of service is maintained

  • Assist in keeping the EUC service queue updated, taking ownership of reported issues through to resolution to the users satisfaction whilst ensuring SLA's are adhered to

  • Ensure all devices distributed are added/updated in the Asset management database.

  • Control warranty repair with suppliers ensuring failed devices are returned to operational status as soon as possible.

  • Action required maintenance ad-hoc or on a schedule for all required hardware/equipment to include device patching and AV management ensuring the estate is fully patched.

  • Working with the Infrastructure team to support and maintain any new initiatives that will improve the end users experience.

  • Support technology deployments including network, telephony, desktop systems and applications working with various stakeholders, ensuring new deployments are transitioned into service correctly.

  • Configure and dispatch mobile telephony devices, ensuring SIM management and tracking is kept updated to ensure costs are controlled.

    Degree or Professional Certification (ITIL) or equivalent experience, high level of technical experience.

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in an End User Compute/2nd/3rd line support role.

  • Experience of managing devices using inTune

  • Experience of Patch Management

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills /Strong interpersonal, communication / Customer Focus.

  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
