Full Job Description

  • Provide support to the business on a variety of everyday IT challenges

  • Complete the setup of equipment for new starters such as building laptops and sorting key fobs

  • Writing bash scripts to assist with automation

  • Ensuring compliance with ISO security practices, IT security policies and governance frameworks

  • Liaise with a variety of internal departments on a regular basis as required

    Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

    Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure - physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
  • Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components

  • Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance

  • Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards

  • Support the information systems needs for your business

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, Willingness to learn, Passion for IT, Written communication skills, GCSE or equivalent 5 GCSE's including English and Maths (Grade A-C/9-4 or equivalent) Essential
