Full Job Description

Develop and implement inventory management procedures and policies
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
- Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and planning
- Oversee the shipping and receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Utilize AS400 system for inventory tracking and management
- Perform data mining and analysis using SQL to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing efficient inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team., Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Proficient in using AS400 system for inventory tracking
- Data analysis skills with the ability to analyze large datasets
- Familiarity with SQL for data mining purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during inventory audits (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
