Inventory Clerks

We are currently recruiting for a number of Inventory Clerks at our new Dublin DC for IKEA. You will have prior experience in a warehouse environment, the ability to record detailed information on Stock and of any discrepancies and also accurately maintain records. You will minimise process discrepancies by educating colleagues to correct process and support the Stock & Systems Manager to achieving budget by controlling inventory. Salary: €36,000 Duties and responsibilities: - Reporting to Stock & Systems Manager - Assist with onsite projects, daily system backup & system upgrades - System task monitoring, task recovery & prioritisation - Maintain Warehouse Management System - Monitor and investigate discrepancies between physical & system stock levels - Action system stock updates in relation to daily investigations - Control stock damages onsite, monitoring damages frequency & implementing solutions when required - Control handling of new and delisted products - Control
transfer of stock between warehouse depots - Comply with quality, Health & Safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment for self and others - Shifts 5 over 7 days with flexibility to work additional hours if necessary

A good command of the - Proficient in English language both verbal & written with strong communication skills - Previous experience with Warehouse Management System - Ability to work at height including step ladder & scissor lift - Diligent, innovative, team orientated individual and highly motivated. - Capable PC skills most notably Microsoft Office and Excel - Ability to interpret data
