Full Job Description

  • The successful candidate will work in the London office, be reporting directly to the International Sales and Consulting Leader and will work closely with our captive management and consulting teams. You will build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and colleagues to ensure the delivery of first-class service targeted results.

  • The role will cover clients, colleagues and prospects across the international region including the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

  • You will develop, manage, and execute on a pipeline and portfolio, work closely with the leader through frequent communication and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company., Exhibit excellent prospect and client relationship skills. Demonstrate strong team working ability forging strong working relationships within the business to meet defined goals

  • Achieve any prescribed Revenue targets.

  • Be responsible for the effective and successful completion of various consulting and sales projects.

  • The role will include; sales pipeline development across areas in the International region, tracking of opportunities, prospect management, sale of captive consulting projects such as feasibility studies and strategic reviews including transition and execution of opportunities

  • Build key relationships across the MMC business outside of Marsh to develop cross-sell opportunities and the best joined up MMC solutions for our clients.

  • Participate in presentations to prospective clients, providing advice all areas captive such as domicile and risk retention vehicles. Identify the need for new products and develop/suggest innovative solutions to gain new clients and projects

  • Work alongside the leader on Align and Assist, scheduling, attending and participating in calls, monitoring of opportunities and arranging training.

  • Respond to and lead management and consulting offensive and defensive RFP responses from written response through to presentation

  • Supporting the wider Marsh business by supporting client presentations and providing industry and professional input to colleagues and clients

  • Work with the marketing and sales teams globally through participation in the sales taskforce, Captive Landscape and marketing calls and initiatives

  • Provide insight and thought leadership by producing key articles and market materials

  • Assist with and potentially lead organisation of captive owners Forum

  • Involvement and in some cases lead in new product development

  • Develop knowledge and keep up to date with industry and domicile developments, including regulations. (This includes captive regulations, tax and accounting legislation, and insurance market changes which may affect captives and their formation)

  • Be in the London office a minimum of 3 days per week.

    Experience in the Captive Insurance or Insurance Industry

  • Ability and willingness to travel when required.

  • Track record in creating new business.

  • Experience in consulting and producing reports and presentations from sat to finish.

  • Be able to generate leads independently and follow these up to build a strong pipeline of potential clients.

  • Strong presentation skills with experienced audiences

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Good business acumen, with an ability to engage with C suite.

  • Analytical mind, drive and desire to learn and solve clients' problems

  • Strives to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions

  • Effective team player, working collaboratively with colleagues

  • Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to identify and develop opportunities.

  • Well organised and disciplined, ability to manage time, work on multiple client projects and maintain delivery excellence

  • Understanding of analytics and have the ability to work with financials and have strong skills in using Microsoft applications
