Full Job Description

This role is an Apprenticeship which is a work based qualification combining practical training in a job and study. Internal Audit is an independent function that reviews and monitors the business's control framework, identifies improvements and reports findings to senior management. You will:

  • Assist Internal Audit staff in performing assessments of the firm's processes and controls, and develop recommendations to help mitigate risks

  • Assist in the execution of audit tests and completing the relevant documentation

  • Shadow experienced staff and learning audit techniques

  • Take ownership of tasks supporting departmental operations such as compilation of metrics and reporting

  • Continuously develop personal skills and promote the positive impact and image of Internal Audit

  • Carrying out other duties as assigned

    A strong desire to obtain a broad exposure to an investment management company

  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • An analytical and skeptical mindset

  • Attention to detail

  • A strong work ethic and openness to feedback

  • Proficiency in common office IT applications e.g. Microsoft Office

  • Competency in handling and analyzing data


  • Nice to have skills
  • Familiarity with financial services and/or fund management


  • Interest in a career in Internal Audit and/or the pursuit of an Internal Audit qualification
