The London Borough of Hillingdon Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Head of Human Resources to lead our HR department.

Reporting to the CEO, this pivotal role requires a strategic thinker who is also adept at working operationally with a proven track record in HR leadership. As this is an interim role, previous experience of working in HR in a Council is key. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, staff development, and employee relations, ensuring that HR strategies align with the council's goals.

This is an exciting time to join the Council as it embarks on a period of transformational change. This role will be a key enabler of this as such you will be experienced in OD and change management., You will be a seasoned HR generalist, with CIPD Level 7 or equivalent with previous experience of working with Senior Directors. Creating and implementing HR strategies along with working with Trade Unions. You will also be an experienced people manager., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Applicants should be aware that the post will only be offered to successful candidates subject to an Enhanced DBS check as well as other employment clearances.
