interim Head of Finance

Working within a high performing leadership team you will be responsible for communicating accurate and timely financial results, understanding financial risks and provide ad hoc analysis. Working closely with key business leaders you will own the planning/budgeting/forecasting process for both P&L and Capex, ensuring financial impacts of key channel activities are fully understood. You will also be responsible for the financial evaluation of new initiatives, business activities and capital investments, ensuring business cases are robust and effective project governance is in place

As a graduate-calibre qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 5 years PQE experience, you will be a strong people manager with well-developed communication skills and evidence of building successful stakeholder relationships. With an ability to focus on the detail, but also grasp the bigger picture, you will have a proven track record of high-level business partnering. We have a strong preference for individuals coming from a consumer related sector such as Retail, FMCG, Telecommunications, Utilities, Energy.

Highly acquisitive multi-site retail/FMCG business in Chippenham now has an opening for an interim Head of Finance responsible for bringing insightful performance reporting and challenge and acting as a trusted advisor providing advice and support on key priorities and decision making. This role is to bridge the gap during a permanent recruitment process and thus is offered on a day rate INSIDE IR35 basis.
