Full Job Description

Our specialist, award-winning IP team works with our clients to protect, maximise and monetise their technology and intellectual property assets across a wide spectrum of industry sectors. They are a highly regarded team with expertise across the full range of IP rights, working on complex IP transactions, as well as IP disputes. The team also advises clients on clearing, registering and maintaining trade marks and designs internationally., In this busy and varied role you'll be working alongside experienced solicitors and trade mark attorneys in the formalities team helping you to develop a specialism in trade marks and designs. You'll be an integral part to the day-to-day workings and provide much needed support as the team grows.

As part of the team, you'll work to build relationships with clients, colleagues and overseas agents, to ensure the smooth running of our clients IP portfolios.This will involve creating, updating and monitoring the records in our specialist database (WebTMS), and gathering information to generate reports. You'll be responsible for allocating tasks to team members, deadline management, and dealing with incoming notifications, requiring you to liaise with trade mark and design registries, and with foreign agents, to progress client instructions., Find out more about our Responsible Business initiatives here, including our net zero goals, local community engagement and social inclusion

  • Completed your law degree or other legal qualification and/or have previously worked as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar

  • Experience of data entry and/or database management

  • Ability to manage multiple workloads simultaneously Experience of deadline management
