Here at IMG we are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Recoveries Administrator reporting out of our Cardiff Office on a Remote or Hybrid Basis on a 6 month contract working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with a competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 (Pro Rata). The Operations Support team supports other operational areas of IMG. This includes handling day-to-day operational transactions and data entry; reviewing cases/claims to make sure data is correct; managing the day-to-day follow up of recoveries; supporting the production of internal and external operational reports; and other middle/back office administrative duties.

What does a day in the life of a Recoveries Administrator Look like?

  • To act as a main touch point for day-to-day actioning of recoveries initiated by front line operations teams (travel claims, 24/7 assistance, health/IPMI).

  • To communicate with policy holders and external parties regarding recoveries, refunds and financial contributions towards costs incurred (via email, phone, post, etc. as necessary).

  • To action recoveries notifications and tasks in line with company processes.

  • To upload communications and information relating to recoveries against the relevant case/claim.

  • To ensure that any calls are properly documented against the relevant case/claim.

  • To ensure data such as reserves, status, etc. are maintained and accurate in all systems.

  • To ensure data in recoveries trackers is maintained and up to date.

  • To follow all recovery processes relevant to the different types of recoveries in order to ensure speed and efficiency.

  • To complete retrospective reviews of cases/claims to help identify missed opportunities for recovery and to action these appropriately.

  • To ensure all communications are documented appropriately and dealt with in a professional, disciplined and courteous manner at all times.

  • To deal with enquiries from policyholders and clients on recovery related matters in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.

  • To ensure familiarity with IMG's service standards and to ensure that support provided is done so in accordance with these.

  • To bring to the attention of your manager any case or claim that is likely to be fraudulent, contentious, high profile (VIP, press involvement, etc.) or that will potentially result in a serious complaint.

  • To bring to the attention of your manager any issues with or opportunities for improvements to systems and/or processes.

    Fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Good oral and written communications skills.

  • Previous administrative experience.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Previous telephone experience (this is not a call center role but may involve some phone calls).

  • Customer service and/or administrative experience in an insurance or finance related field.

  • Familiarity and a reasonable working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

  • The ability to work under pressure as part of a close-knit team.

  • Good organizational skills, particularly the ability to manage workloads and use own initiative.
