Location: flexible. We are happy to consider candidates based in our sites in Harlow (Essex) or Ridings Point (Castleford, West Yorkshire). We have a hybrid approach to home working!
A day in the life of a Product Lead for Innovative medicines...

  • Strategic Planning:

  • + You will develop a comprehensive launch strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals by working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business
    + You will conduct market analysis and assess competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • + You will work closely with Medical and EU Innovative Medicine Team to understand the product's unique selling points and ensure a smooth transition from development to launch
    + You will collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences
  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • + You will partner with regulatory affairs to navigate and comply with regulatory requirements for product launch
    + You will ensure all promotional materials and activities adhere to industry regulations and guidelines
  • Market Access and Pricing:

  • + You will collaborate with NHS Strategy & Business Innovation lead to establish optimal pricing strategies for the new medicines
    + You will work on market access initiatives to ensure broad availability of the product
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

  • + You will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups
    + You will engage with external partners to enhance the reach and impact of the product launch
    + You will ensure effective communication and alignment with internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment throughout the product launch
  • Performance Monitoring:

  • + You will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product launch
    + You will monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies as needed
  • Team Leadership:

  • + You will lead and inspire a cross-functional launch team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
    + You will provide guidance and support to team members to ensure individual and collective success
    + You will identify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and obstacles, whilst maintaining appropriate stakeholder oversight and buy-in
  • Delivery Management:

  • + You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure adherence to timelines

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or project management qualification preferred.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing delivery of projects or products within scope and timeline constraints, from initiation to completion.

  • Proven experience in product management and successful launch of pharmaceutical products.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience working in a cross-functional team and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across different departments and organisations.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory processes, and market dynamics preferable but not essential
