Information Security Manager

Hyve are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join our vibrant team working in Brighton, supporting our global growth. As compliance officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's compliance with regulations. This includes constructing disaster management plans, communicating with vendors, and managing projects to support the business growth., · You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements in the business, with the goal of continuously improving information security posture, governance and data privacy across everything we do.

· You will ensure Hyve meets the required industry standards in accreditations, frameworks and audits including ISO 27001, SOC 1 and 2 and Cyber Essentials.

· Ensuring office space is compliant, secure and fit for purpose in health and safety and security.

· Liaise with HR and assisting with the staff onboarding and staff training as well as completing relevant documentation.

· Owning Hyve's journey towards sustainable goals, including reporting, meeting standards & accreditations. Work with marketing on initiatives and promotion

· Ad-hoc project management, ensuring we meet partnerships accreditations and benefit from partner programmes

· Demonstrable experience in leading external certification projects. Ideally ISO 27001, 9001 and 27017.

· Demonstrable experience in delivering internal audits in conjunction with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

· Experience in preparing and presenting complex reports to board level.

· Knowledge of best practice quality, risk, information security and business continuity management including relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO9001, HIPPA, Cyber Essentials and SOC 2)

· Knowledge of data privacy legislation including GDPR/Data Protection Act

· 3+ years' experience in a similar role

· Knowledge of hosting and cloud platforms

· Impeccably spoken and written English

· Strong organisational skills

· Great communication skills

You must be eligible to work in the UK.,
