Individual Needs Assistant

Start date is 1st September or as soon as possible after pre-employment checks have been completed. Contract is for Term Time (39 weeks) paid for 44.85.

We are looking for an efficient, friendly and well organised Individual Needs Assistant to join our school team. You would be working alongside 2 children and previous experience of INA work is desirable - however training will be provided where necessary.,

• able to implement specific learning strategies which will supplied by our SEN team or as recommended in EHCPs


• highly organised, hardworking and pay attention to detail.


• able to maintain confidentiality.


• able to communicate effectively and adapt style depending on children.


• able to build relationships effectively with children with specific needs.


• able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.


• able to maintain efficient record keeping systems.
  
  We are part of the Weald Federation which was formed in September 2019 consisting of Frant CEP, Mark Cross CEA, Mayfield CEP and Five Ashes CEP. The schools work together to enhance both the academic and pastoral opportunities for the pupils. The larger federation also offers staff a wide variety of CPD and career progression opportunities.
  
  Hours of work: 10 (2 hours per day - we could be flexible with specific hours)

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)
