Full Job Description
As a principal point of contact in your locality, you will work collaboratively with partner agencies, the VCFSE sector, businesses, councillors and local stakeholders to develop their assets, support business growth and job creation to improve the quality of life for local people.
In this varied role, you will use your skills and knowledge to help local businesses to grow, promote Trafford to new investors, assist residents into employment and apprenticeships and support the development of the VCFSE sector. Key to the role is encouraging businesses and partners to contribute to social value by being part of the Trafford Community.
An effective communicator and organiser, you will work on a variety of initiatives to deliver employment support to residents including organising job events and career fairs and recruitment sessions for employers. You will work with a range of stakeholders to help those residents facing most disadvantage to gain employment.
You will have at least 2 years relevant experience in a related field, supporting a range of partners (such as Local Authority, local businesses, stakeholders and Voluntary and Community Sectors). You will have experience of working within a team and working collaboratively with employers, community groups, private and public sector organisations and residents to provide support, identify opportunities and deliver change.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in related discipline or formal off the job training supported by certification.

Additional Information
Flexibility will be required to work outside core hours to attend meetings and networking events
You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office
You will be required to travel around the borough in this role to meet with clients, stakeholders and partners

Salary range - Band 7, £34,834- £37,336
Working Pattern - 2x Full Time and 1x Part Time vacancy
