We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Identification Support Officer in our Justice Services Department . Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
- We are a small team based in Justice Services who assist in the management of and to conduct identification procedures in accordance with the Police and Criminal Evidence ACT (PACE ) Code D. Our offices are in Talbot Green Police Station
- We work with all departments involved in identification processes ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to
- You will be responsible for carrying out processes in relation to the management of identification procedures
- You will supply expert advice & support major incidents where identification is an issues
- You will be the gatekeeper for the South Wales Police Identification Process
We would like you to have experience in using Microsoft applications - If you have knowledge of PACE- Code D and are able to present evidence at both Crown and Magistrates court we would like to hear from you
- We would like you to have good working knowledge of the National Decision-Making Model

About the role and your key responsibilities :
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
