Hybrid Porter / Stores Assistant

Receive and deliver goods to departments. Daily preparation of consumable stock cages for the Collection Teams. Supporting changes in systems, current processes and working practices within the Stores area To carry out a range of warehouse duties /tasks in an effective manner Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of stock levels. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries and returns, encouraging the use of correct procedures and paperwork. Resolve stock issues, including stock deficiency, damaged goods and unclear orders using own initiative. Initiate emergency stock orders if required. Use of forklift to lift/move large and heavy items within the Stores area.
