HV Cable Jointer

Join a diverse and international team of experts with unmatched repair capabilities and jointing experience keeping the global power grids in operation. From service hubs in Sweden, Denmark and Germany, NKT offers on- and offshore cable services to maximize the utilization of power cable systems.

We are looking for a number of jointers, who have HVDC or are willing to be trained on HVDC experience.

• 
  Willingness to learn and/or improve your technical abilities
  
• Valid Driving license class B


• Reasonable computer skills (to communicate and register your working hours, work reports and improvement ideas in NKT systems)


• A track record of High Voltage or Medium Voltage jointing (experience above 66kV beneficial)


• Drive and self-motivation


• Leadership and teamworking skills


• Site management skills


• Construction industry experience


• Experience with fibre optic cables


As a pre-requisite for application, candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and hold a current and valid passport.
