Full Job Description
- Planning, implementing, and maintaining Noriker's HSE management system, policies and procedures
- Supporting projects from proposal and planning to delivery in HSE requirements
- Provide HSE inductions for personnel, monitoring HSE behaviour during construction and operations, arranging training where necessary
- Conduct HSE inspections, incident investigations, and audits, assisting resultant action plan implementation
- Ensure contractor engagement meets with Noriker's HSE standards on-site
- Maintain all relevant records
- Report on company and contractor HSE performance to Stakeholders
You are STEM degree educated, with experience working in an engineering or infrastructure environment. You may even have IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications. As an engineer you get excited at the prospect of ensuring HSE needs are at the core of our cutting edge battery storage projects. - Have experience working in an HSE capacity in an engineering, construction or maintenance environment
- Be able to actively communicate with colleagues company wide, sharing HSE best practices
- Have a working knowledge of the UK HSE regulations and compliance framework
- Be a positive, self-motivated individual who proactively solves problems before they arise
- Have a strong sense of personal responsibility, being motivated by a job well done
- Belief that positive outcomes are the inevitable outcome of collective hard work
