Full Job Description

As a Regional HSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will work closely with site managers and teams to implement best practices, conduct risk assessments, and develop strategies to continuously improve our HSE performance.

Delivering training and support to Plants as and when required. To support colleagues as and when required within the wider OPEX and Quality teams.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Support and report into the UK HSE Manager

  • Be a sponsor for strategic key objectives and their development.

  • Assure local sites are able to demonstrate a duty of care to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public endorsing the company's 'safety first, performance second' policy.

  • Aid local HSE managers to achieve corporate and regional improvement projects

  • Undertake structured surveillance and inspection visits.

  • Assist sites with external audit requirements and investigations were necessary

  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders effectively and coach existing or new processes, drive good practice and share ideas across interested parties.

  • Produce written reports and accurate data.

  • Identify site training topics

  • Create SSOW and Toolbox talks.

  • Evaluate environmental aspects and impacts.

    NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Demonstration of professional competence and development through providing evidence of continuing professional development.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation and ACOPS.

  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (desirable)

  • Passionate about safety with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.

  • Ability to positively influence others.

  • Experience of carrying out Risk assessments

  • Managing Contractors, permit to work, CDM

  • Accident investigation. Problem solving, 5Y RCA.

  • Project planning, management of change

  • Auditing
