HR Support Apprentice 2024

As a HR Support Apprentice at Parker Meggitt, you will embark on a rotational programme exposing you to all aspects of HR. From Employee Relations to Talent Acquisition, Employee enrichment programmes to Operational HR, you'll gain the skills you need to begin successful career in HR., Throughout the apprenticeship, you will spend time among a variety of different teams, including Talent Acquisition - where you learn the process that goes in to securing new talent into the organisation. You will also spend time with Operational HR, giving you a great understanding of the wider business HR practices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Supporting the AskHR team with monitoring and responding to emails in the shared inbox - providing support, advice and guidance to those in need


• Assisting in standard HR practices such as administration for new starters, business leavers process, personal information updates, payroll and security checks


• Supporting the team with the administration and implementation of the Success Factors system and understand how this links globally and regionally within the business


• Supporting the Employee Relations and Programmes Manager with the implementation of policy and process by providing relevant supporting documentation


• Completing a rotational placement with the Talent Acquisitions team - gaining an understanding of how Meggitt attract and select new hires


• Supporting the talent team in the organizing of interviews, providing candidate feedback and supporting candidates with any queries they may have


• Working with Operational HR to understand the business structure, it's products and services and get exposure to the wider Meggitt workforce
