Full Job Description

  • Managing the day-to-day PX queries via the PX mailbox, leveraging your college-acquired knowledge and collaborating closely with team members to provide timely guidance

  • Diving into the world of recruitment admin, from shortlisting to scheduling interviews, requesting employment checks, and crafting employment docs

  • Take the reins on preparing employment contracts and tweaking terms and conditions letters. It's your chance to showcase your attention to detail and ownership

  • Let's talk all things employee relations! You'll sit in on meetings, lending your insights as we advise line managers on all things people related

  • While teamwork makes the dream work, you'll be the guardian of accurate employee data on our PX system, ADP. Your commitment to precision will keep everything shipshape

  • In this dynamic role, each day presents new challenges and opportunities. You'll collaborate closely with the PX Business Partner and Head of PX to fulfil the company's needs; adapting swiftly to whatever tasks arise. Our strength lies in our collective effort as we navigate as a team, As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to study the following through this Apprenticeship:

  • Apprenticeship in HR Level 3

  • English, maths if required


    • At Havant & South Downs College we offer different methods of delivery either work based or day release dependent on the course. This will be discussed with you upon appointment.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Essential
    GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C) Essential
