Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies, and supporting our People and the organisation with their development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a strong understanding of HR functions., Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Bridge management and employee relations by addressing areas of concern , grievances, or other issues.

Lead on employee engagement initiatives, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and cultural change.

Support the charity with a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.

Support and advise the Senior Leadership team with regards to Organisational change, People plans and complex employee relation casework.

Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.

Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programmes.

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.

Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for employees. Ensure training adds value and has clear sight of the SOC vision and overall strategy.

Support Apprentice learners in their studies and liaise with external providers in tripartite meetings to ensure they have support in their learning journey at SOC.
