Full Job Description

RPS Group is looking for an HR Data Analyst to join our Services Human Resources team based in Huddersfield, Manchester or Warrington on a Permanent full time basis. The primary focus of the role will be to provide administrative support, MI and reporting data to the HR Director for the Services division., Accountable for accurate, consistent reporting and interpretation of HR data against agreed metrics (e.g. turnover; absence rates; service lengths; demographics, headcount against budgeted etc) . The analyst is responsible for the development and implementation of streamlined processes, new insights platforms, tools, predictive analysis methodologies and regular consistent reporting. This role will provide HR data analytics to the HR and senior leadership team, develop monthly reporting mechanisms to collate and track key people metrics for the business. Building data into easy-to-understand reporting tools and dashboards.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing accurate and timely HR Data reports to provide monthly dashboard of key people metrics.

  • Compiling data reports for monthly management meetings, producing People KPIs for turnover, retention, diversity, engagement, and other key focus areas.
    Running weekly/monthly reports from Oracle EBS System (and eventually ADP system), Cornerstone, Brainier and POD applicant tracking system. Present data in a clear, concise manner.
    Identifying areas of risk and opportunity based on data analysis. Identify ways to improve processes and support implementation of change programmes.
    Support business requests for bespoke bid/client reporting and with HR data queries.
    Provide accurate data and reports to other departments as requested.
    Business process mapping

    The knowledge and experience required for this role is as follows:
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, pivot tables, Vlook ups, data analysis, using formulas and presenting data though graphs and charts.

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and ability to create new reporting suites in this format.
    Good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint programmes is required. The ability to mail merge and link/update data across different file sources would be advantageous.
    Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data in simple forms.
    Must be comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information and have a good awareness of Data protection (GDPR) rules.
    Experience of working with Oracle E Business Suite or/and ADP payroll solution desirable not essential.
    Business process mapping experience desirable not essential.
  • Power App experience desirable not essential.

  • A knowledge of HR administration would be advantageous but not essential.
