Housing Support Worker

As a Housing Support Worker (Caseworker), you will be working with a team of highly motivated compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of adult customers who are homeless. You will need to meet with each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone's ready to move on, we will rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.

Relevant experience would be an advantage, as would an understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the benefit system. But just as important may well be skills and knowledge which you have in other areas which you can share to foster positive experiences for our customers with energy and enthusiasm whilst being kind and empathic.

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check. You must be able to work shifts across 7 days per week, early and late shifts plus sleep ins (up to 7 each month).

• Do you have great IT (Word//Excel) and communication skills with a knack for creating good professional working relationships?
