We are currently looking for a warm, outgoing and friendly person to be our new Housekeeping Team Member to work in a small teambased in the iconic Rotunda building in the heart of the city centre.

The Housekeeping Team Member will act as our unsung heroes of Staying Cool, providing a clean and welcoming accommodation for our daily guests.

You'll need a winning smile, an eye for detail, a passion for customer care, a desire to surprise and delight our guests ensuring everyoneleaves Rotunda as an ambassador for our brand, plus excellent organisational skills.

MainDuties:

· To work within the housekeeping department with a team cleaning apartments, the public areas including reception and the lift spaces as well as our designated outdoor areas of space.

· To provide a clean, fresh room for our arriving guests daily, to assist with other team members to ensure our rooms are cleaned and made available for arriving guests by 3pm.

· To report any maintenance issues to the in house Maintenance Personager & the housekeeping team member in charge of the day to report issues in apartments so they can be resolved ahead of a guest arrival.

· Assisting in house guests with any issues reported to yourself or other team members regarding their stay, helping to put things right or demonstrate how things in our apartments work.

· Report and log your linen usage, as well as cleaning times per apartment/tasks for Operations.

Standards within the role:

· Provide a high level of cleaning to each apartment, taking time and care and making use of the tools provided to carry out the job at hand.

· To arrive to work in a clean, and presentable manner with the correct uniform and a name badge

· Greet all guests in and out of their apartments, lift and public areas, a warm friendly smile goes a long way.

· Using the training to the best of your abilities to deliver a 4&5 star standard of cleaning.


• A winning smile and a passion for wanting to look after customers.


• Experience of working in a housekeeping environment to some description


• Excellent standard of written and spoken English; with the ability to switch easily from a warm, friendly style in an email to a guestto a more formal report style as required.


• Work hard to a timely fashion in each apartment and provide cleaned apartments on time to Guest Relations Team


• Ability to focus on the task in hand while on a busy working environment


• Computer literacy.


• Ability to work on your own at times as well as part of a team.
