Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations at our Student Accommodation. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction through effective management of the housekeeping team.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and housekeeping supervisors
- Train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand and adhere to hotel policies and procedures
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to high standards
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering additional items as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address guest requests and resolve any issues
- Monitor and control departmental expenses within budgetary guidelines
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff, providing feedback and coaching for improvement

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management
- Proficient in using housekeeping software systems
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required
