Full Job Description

Overall Purpose of the JobTo proactively deliver an exceptional guest and client experience and be part of a driven, energetic professional team.   • Create positive interactions with all our clients, guests and team members.

  • Deal with requests in an efficient manner, communicating with line manager, front of house team and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of service.

  • Lead all beverage related project; implementation of new products/procesess

  • In conjunction with line manager, ensuring that relevant areas are always stocked with the necessary stock equipment and supplies, including all the chemicals.

  • Ensuring all service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.

  • Escalate any service issues to the appropriate management team and line manager.

  • Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.

  • Efficiently deliver beverage service with the necessary equipment to multiple areas.

  • Ensuring all bar areas are maintained to high standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any actions as is necessary.

  • Attend a daily meetings and lease with line manager stock and equipment required for subsequent week's events.

  • Ensure that all risk assessments are checked and updated regularly.

  • Ongoing training and coaching of all team members.

  • Control all sufficient levels, movements of equipment and beverage stock.

  • Support with maintenance of equipment and client assets.

  • Report any shortages or delivery issues and oversee return of hired equipment.

  • Financial oversight, including budget management and cost control.

  • Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial record keeping.

  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies.

    Engaging, flexible and friendly in manner.

  • Experience of managing liquor/cellars

  • Proven experience in similar management role, ideally gained in premium bars environment.

  • With natural leadership abilities, flexible and hands-on approach.

  • Able to communicate effectively with all our customers, clients and colleagues. Listen and respond appropriately.

  • Experience of supervising/managing a team within premium/liquor environment.

  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.

  • Confidence when meeting and interacting with people to discover their needs.

  • Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, can do attitude.

  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment.

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and think on your feet.

  • Comfortable to walk & stand during majority of shift.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours on both weekdays, weekends and evenings. Casual and based around business needs.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word & Excel

  • Able to independently travel to venue.
