Full Job Description

  • Kitchen Support: Assist in the preparation, serving, and clearing away of meals. Aid in setting tables and trays to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents.

  • Laundry Management: Inspect, launder, and repair residents' clothing with care and attention to detail.

  • Housekeeping: Make and change beds, tidy rooms, and undertake designated cleaning duties to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

    Good communication skills.

  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is advantageous.

  • A passion for providing exceptional care to older individuals.

  • Ability to approach and assist older people with sensitivity and respect.

  • NB. Due to the nature of the clients we care for and their complex needs, we need to ensure that we are safeguarding minors and reducing their exposure to potentially challenging situations. The employment of individuals aged 16 and 17 is therefore not permitted for any roles requiring delivery of direct personal care.

    Pay: £11.45 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
