Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team as a Registered Manager, working as an integral part of Milestones Learning Disabilities Services. You will help us shape 2a Court Road, a service which offers support to 15 Adults with a learning disability and Complex Behaviours, into a modern, responsive, and sustainable service which provides the high quality and personalised service the people we support deserve.
As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the safe, cost-effective and personalised running of the service, in line with Milestones Trust's values and organisational priorities. You will lead the team to ensure all compliance and management responsibilities are met and service KPI's are consistently achieved and exceeded and will be supported in developing and implementing your vision for the service into the future. This is an opportunity to influence service design and delivery whilst never losing focus from the needs and aspirations of the people at the heart of the service.

  • Have experience of working in Learning Disability Services,

  • Have experience in assessing and working with people with Learning Disabilities proven experience of supporting people to achieve the life they wish to live

  • Have experience of working in a registered Learning Disability Service

  • Have previous experience of a managing and leading people and teams

  • Have a creative and encouraging Leadership style

  • Be able to work alongside your team to Coach and Mentor and the ability to provide a positive and professional role model to other members of staff

  • Be confident in delegating efficiently to achieve outcomes.

  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, people we support and a range of stakeholders, family and friends.

  • Have experience of managing budgets and efficient rota planning of a large team

  • Have experience of Recruitment processes and effective retention of staff and enable the team to fell valued and grow within the organsiation.

  • Have effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure

  • Have good IT skills and familiar with packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
