Working week...

Week 1: 14 hours of Thur and Fri

Week 2: 28 hours of Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun - and so on..

(Shifts of Sat & Sun, 8am-3pm or 3pm-10pm) -Car owner is ideal. (Petrol will be expensed

  • and all travel, is within your working shift). Starting/ending from Eleanor Lodge.


  • Overtime is available.

    Eleanor Lodge provides exceptional levels of support to adults, aged 18 and over, with learning disabilities and mental health issues. It is situated in Delapre, Northampton and offers a wonderful living environment in which our customers can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. We also offer domiciliary care to adults living in their own homes within the local community (Car owner, is ideal).

    We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of care. With our great accommodation and facilities, Eleanor Lodge evokes a home from home atmosphere in which our customers can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.

    As a Community Support Worker you will act as a key worker for customers, assisting with the provision of positive enabling intervention and support for adults with mental health problems, physical and/or learning disabilities.

    What will you be doing?

    As a Community Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
  • Act as key worker to a set number of customers, supporting with learning, independent, volunteering and employment opportunities and outcomes.

  • You will act as the first point of contact with external agencies and professionals, providing advice and guidance.

  • Supporting customers to create, manage and update vocational profiles.

  • Car owner is ideal as traveling is across Northamptonshire.

    Full training will be given.

  • You will either currently have, or be willing to work towards, NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

  • Full driving license and access to your own vehicle, would be ideal.

  • Self-motivated, personable and a creative approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.

  • To apply for this role, you require a satisfactory enhanced DBS, which we supply.
