Caring Comes 1st Ltd is a domiciliary care provider who specialise in home care for elderly and disabled clients. We are a family run, client focused company. We provide excellent support to help people maintain and retain their independence and dignity in their own home.

Caring Comes 1st Ltd is now recruiting for full & part time Health Care Assistants to join our team in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

We are looking for caring and compassionate people, who are passionate about making a genuine difference to people's lives, to providing person centred care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, within the comfort of their own home.

We currently have a variety of contract hours available, with various shift patterns between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Sunday.

We cover the following areas: Kingswood, Emersons Green, Downend, Warmley, Mangotsfield, Cadbury Heath, Oldland Common, Hanham, Stockwood, Keynsham, Saltford, Temple Cloud, Wick, Pucklechurch, Filton.,

  • Assist with personal hygiene and bathing

  • Support with shopping, meal planning and preparation

  • Light domestic tasks and general household duties

  • Assist with prescribed medication

  • Support clients with accessing the community and provide companionship

    Driving licence and own vehicle essential

  • Experience in caring for others preferable, however full training arranged

  • Caring and compassionate nature

  • Patient and empathetic

  • Strong communication skills

  • Reliable, committed and professional

  • Flexible to work alternative weekends

    Competitive pay rates:


  • 7am - 4pm: Weekdays £11, Weekends £11.50

    4pm until finish: Weekdays £12, Weekends £12.50
  • Guaranteed contracted hours

  • Paid mileage at 40p per mile

  • Paid travel time

  • Enhanced Bank Holidays pay (double pay)

  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)

  • Full, on-going support from your Service Manager

  • Company mobile phone or £5 per month own phone bonus

  • DBS charges refunded after 1 month service
