Holiday Club Playworkers

Honeycroft is a registered charity providing affordable, quality childcare. The centre is registered for 59 children aged 0 to 11 and our services include a nursery, out of school provision and space for family learning and leisure activities.

Our team are skilled in providing an inclusive, happy, play environment with planned activities themed for each week and regular off-site trips to local parks.,

• working as part of a team to provide consistent care and emotional support to all children attending each session both on and off the premises


• contributing to the planning and delivery of the session and activities


• maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of space and equipment


• reporting any concerns relating to children.
  
  Required experience: We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, and who demonstrate a keen interest in their own learning and developing to join our team. This role would suit those working in a school setting, or who are studying locally and would like additional hours / income during the school holiday times. Applicants should have:


• Experience of working with / caring for children.


• Great communication skills.


• Ability to be an excellent role model and team player., 1. Current Safeguarding training


2. Current First Aid certificate

3. A food and hygiene certificate

4. Experience of supporting child/ren with special educational needs and / or disabilities

5. Able to speak another / other languages

6. Additional skills in either art, music, storytelling, dance, yoga or sport.
