Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a confident and well organised Higher Level Teaching Assistant who;
· Has recent experience of teaching across the primary school range
· Holds the HLTA qualification
· Has the ability to plan and evaluate pupils progress and adapt lessons plans when necessary
· Has experience of working with teachers to deliver learning activities to whole classes
· Has the skills to work with pupils to accelerate learning in Maths, Phonics, Reading and Writing
The successful candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills, a positive and caring manner and excellent communication skills, including a sense of humour. You will need to be flexible and committed to providing the children in your care with the best learning experience possible as well as having and demonstrating high expectations.
Hours of work: 27.5 hours per week, term time only
Contract type: Permanent
