HGV Class 2 Driver

Unisurge is the UKs leading manufacturer of Custom Surgical Procedure Trays (CPT). Our activities include cleanroom assembly of kits, sterilisation of product using Ethylene Oxide gas, transport and distribution of our goods.

• Salary £32,000 per year, will increase to £33,000 after successful probation


Key areas of responsibility:

• To deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.


• To follow all local rules for deliveries at customer locations.


• To get all paperwork signed by customers upon receipt of goods.


• Hand in all paperwork to the office at the end of each day.


• Inspect the vehicle daily prior to leaving site and record all information on the driver vehicle check and defect report form.


• Carry out basic maintenance of the vehicle and keep in a clean condition.


• Ensure that all quality regulations and requirements for the operation of the vehicle are maintained at all time.


• To download Digi tacho card weekly after delivery.
  
  Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable together with being a holder of a Class 2 licence, Digi tacho card and CPC. (Essential)


• Ideally applicants should be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics. (Desirable)


• Good verbal and written communication in English. (Essential)


• Occasional nights out.
