Full Job Description

We know from Our Open Conversation across all people working in health and care in Birmingham and Solihull that staff development is their most asked for change. This post will lead on the strategic development of the new staff offer for Birmingham and Solihull and support development of our executive and system leaders. The post holder will work with partners across the Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System with the ambition of making this the best place to work in health and care., 1 The Job holder will be accountable for:

  • Development and implementation of the new staff offer

  • o Compassionate and Inclusive Managers support everyone to grow and be recognised
    o It is safe and meaningful to raise issues
    o Work is flexible and moving roles is easier
    o Collaborating is easy and includes everyone
  • Support the delivery of second open conversation, improving participation across BSol

  • Design and deliver a talent strategy to meet commitment to NHS Workforce EDI High Impact Actions including talent programmes for middle and senior managers

  • Delivery of Culture and Leadership Programme approach including development of a BSol culture dashboard

  • Support ongoing development of BSol OD Forum for collaboration and sharing of best practice

  • Oversight and delivery of the ICB staff survey including targeted OD interventions for prioritised teams in the ICB

  • Acting as deputy for the Associate Director of Transformation as required and supporting the delivery of other key objectives within the departmental function.
