  • Great inbound marketing results come from understanding the buyer and balancing creativity with the ability to organise and manage campaigns to fruition. You will demonstrate practical skills and know-how of content marketing, social media, SEO, CRO, and personalised marketing techniques to deliver impressive campaign ROI.

Do you love turning marketing data into actionable campaigns?

Do you relish in the glory of your ideas creating results for clients?

Have you experience building, training and managing a team of marketers that know how to work together to deliver exceptional results?

    About you

We're seeking a Head of Marketing Services to oversee the planning, management and execution of lead generation campaigns for our B2B clients. You will have proven experience of running a small team, including training, project and budget management.

You have experience working and communicating with senior business leaders about commercial outcomes, not just marketing objectives, to advise on strategy and tactics to optimise any part of the funnel.

This position will directly manage one or two accounts while overseeing the success of others run by our marketing consultants. In the longer term you'll be working alongside a client services manager to lead our marketing services team

    You are:
  • Imaginative and naturally inquisitive

  • Purposeful and good at making things happen

  • Proactive and able to anticipate problems and opportunities

  • Able to motivate people and align them to achieve a goal

  • Responsible - you care about your work

  • Organised and good at communicating with colleagues and clients at every level of seniority.

  • Able to motivate and lead a team of marketers and copywriters

  • Ultimately, the right candidate has the skill set and mentality to proactively drive results for our clients. During the interview process, we will want to talk to you about the results you've achieved previously, the challenges you've faced, and how you overcame them.

    About Axon Garside's Marketing Team

Everyone in the AG marketing team knows we are more than the sum of our parts. We are lucky to have people with different skills and backgrounds to collaborate with. You should see this as an opportunity to learn, improve your skills, and better your client's results.

We are not a production line. We don't complete our work and hand it over to the next person in the factory. We work together as a team, united around a purpose. As a Consultant, you have the chance to define and drive that purpose.

  • Our culture encourages people to experiment and try new things, to shape their own role and build a career path that works for them.

  • We utilise HubSpot - a leading marketing, sales, and service platform - to deliver outstanding results for our clients. You will have the chance to work extensively in HubSpot and master the tool.

  • Access to an annual training budget, personalised development plans, in-house, HubSpot and external training to help you develop your career.

  • Hybrid working, with 3 days in our Northern Quarter office and regular team drinks on Fridays.

  • A commitment for our business to play its part in the community with extra days off for volunteering and community work

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • Access to mental health and wellbeing support, including counselling, through the BUPA Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Access to health treatments and benefits through Medicash (after probationary period)

  • 22 days holiday in the first year, increasing by 1 day per year served up to a maximum of 27 days (plus bank holidays).

  • Regular progress and salary reviews with the opportunity to develop quickly.

  • Access to quarterly commission bonuses based on your ability to grow your accounts.
