Head of Manufacturing

We are Two Magpies Bakery, an award-winning company with sites across Suffolk and Norfolk. In recent years we have expanded from 1 café to 10 and 2 production units. As we continue to grow we are looking to recruit an experienced food production manager to oversee all product manufacturing.

As Head of Manufacturing, you will work with Heads of Departments & Back of House Manager to achieve high performance & food safety compliance within our Back of House departments. You will need to have the ability to oversee all different areas of food production & focusing on the following areas:

- Day to day management of our HACCP system, as well as continual reviews & writing of new HACCP plans. Ensuring the teams are following all procedures.

- General compliance admin IE. fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing ect.

- Managing equipment maintenance, as well as general site maintenance.

- Driving the development of efficient food production

- Ensuring our high product standards are adhered too whilst maintaining our set yields

Management experience within a food production unit is vital & also beneficial to have good IT & numeracy skills. Prior experience with developing & adhering to a HACCP system is also beneficial.
