Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a full-time, well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of German. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the profile of German at St Helen's, as we build and extend our languages offering throughout the School. German is offered as an option in Year 8 and continues to A level.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of German who can also teach French and/or Spanish, to A level. They will be able to demonstrate extensive subject knowledge and have the ability to inspire pupils, nurture their appreciation of languages and motivate them to work independently.
With overall responsibility for German, this post is permanent and full-time, commencing in January 2025 and will involve teaching across the age range from Year 5 to Year 13.
All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the pastoral and enrichment programmes of the School. All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the pupils, in accordance with the School's Safeguarding Policy.
