Full Job Description

The Head of Digital Solutions is responsible for ensuring the Digital needs and requirements of the KINE region (specifically the Marketing and Commercial teams; across UK & Ireland, the Nordics region and South Africa) are understood, addressed and delivered through relevant, best-in-class Digital solutions; working closely with the Knauf Digital and Central KI teams, and alongside the KINE Marketing and Commercial functions.

What you'll be doing…

  • Working with Knauf Digital and Central KI teams; lead the Digital development program for KINE region

  • Leading a small team, deliver best-in-class Digital initiatives to unlock commercial opportunity and deliver customer centricity

  • Responsible for the KINE Digital ecosystem

  • Digital project management; maintaining stakeholder engagement with adherence to plan

  • Create and manage processes to drive continuous Digital improvement

  • Analyse and report on KINE Digital performance; recommending and owning optimisation initiatives

  • Champion the development/optimisation of key Digital tools, such as knauf.com, Kinetik, EPIM, DAM, BIM Factory, Hubspot, Barbour ABI, NBS and others

  • Supervise, coordinate and support local implementation of digital marketing tools, digital analytic tools and performance marketing tools

  • Supervise the development of regional and local DCI tools

  • Support local Digital Marketing Managers in the development of digital marketing plans and strategies

  • Supervise/coordinate implementation of global digital marketing tools and key digital infrastructure /backend system across the region on time and in full

  • Supplier and internal stakeholder management

  • Together with local Digital Marketing Managers define key KPI's for local digital marketing campaigns

  • Supervise tracking and reporting of regional and local digital marketing campaigns against KPIs

  • Develop and lead Digital Solutions team in alignment with the strategy of the Knauf Digital entity

  • Propose developments and solutions through the use of existing software programs, systems and tools, database management, data mining activity and gap analysis

  • Be the single point of contact for centrally-driven digital projects

  • Scope out opportunities for innovation in line with Sales and Marketing objectives and customer centricity

  • Work with key stakholders to develop and deliver CRM project requirements

  • Ensure all CRM activity is delivered within agreed budget and timescale

  • Explore systems and data to enhance results driven activity

  • Deliver product traceability solutions across all product groups in line with the business objectives and government guidelines

  • Be key regional Digital representative in the Global KIEMEA Digital Community

  • Demonstrate KI Values and promote Continuous Improvement culture

  • If you have any of the following - this would be an added advantage:
  • Minimum requirement: degree in relevant subject (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 5 years enterprise-level Digital experience

  • People management experience

  • Digital Marketing experience

  • Budget management experience

  • Project management/delivery experience

  • Knowledge of SAP - desirable

  • Experience of systems development

  • Digital analytics experience

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) desirable

  • Able to manage multiple projects

  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • CRM experience essential, preferably with Salesforce

  • Marketing automation experience essential, preferably with Hubspot

  • Knowledge of product information management tools desirable

  • Knowledge of AI and a curiosity to continually learn about new digital trends

  • Relevant knowledge on DCI Tools and implementation and maintenance of digital infrastructure & backend systems

  • Enthusiasm for the construction industry and building materials

  • Full written and spoken fluency in English, additional languages of the region are of advantage


  • Excellent understanding of the digital landscape
