Head of Account Development

We're currently seeking an ambitious, dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to take a leading role as we deliver our own ambitious plans. This is a leadership role and the successful candidate will be responsible for being the face of the company by generating leads, winning new business, increasing our client portfolio, growing our relationships with existing clients and developing partnerships., Key tasks and duties may include:

• Social selling using LinkedIn


• Field sales activities


• CRM management


• Travel around the UK


• Email list management


• New business development activities including account qualification calls and service demo's


• Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions


• Drive revenue growth through upselling and proactive selling to new clients


• Building company and individual profile within the sector


• Collaborate with internal team to ensure client satisfaction


• Creating new partnerships

This is a full-time role, based in our office near Bedford, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The successful candidate will be a committed and dedicated sales professional who is working in a marketing or business development role withing the events sector.

They'll be determined and confident and must have extensive experience of working with professional associations and corporate events.

Knowledge of event technology platforms such as EventsAir or Cvent would be an advantage.,
• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Account management: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
