Head Housekeeper

We are seeking a Head Housekeeper. This is a full-time position working 5 days per week to include alternate weekends. Hours will be 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

- To provide bi-monthly supervisions to the housekeeping team, to include supervision through observed practice and competency assessments.

- Handle the housekeeping teams annual leave requests, sickness and return to work interviews.

- Assist with recruiting new housekeeper team members when needed.

- Clean and maintain designated areas in accordance with established procedures and standards

- Be responsible for weekly ordering of cleaning products
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Maintenance Operative
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Ability to manage a small team efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
