Head Chef / Manager

Working together with your kitchen and the front of house team, you will take charge of all aspects of the kitchen operation, completing the staff rotas, managing the team, running shifts, developing staff, managing HACCP and produce high quality dishes to deliver an excellent guest experience., Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Plan and create innovative menus that meet quality standards
- Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency and freshness
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies and minimize waste
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and coordinate repairs when necessary

The ideal candidate will be diligent, have a great sense of humour, work well under pressure, be self-motivated, have an amazing eye for detail and be able to get the best out of the team and work in harmony with the front of house team. This is not a team suited to a Chef with a big ego who likes to throw tantrums! The right person will have experience of running a kitchen and can demonstrate a knowledge of managing GP, waste and menu costings whilst empowering their team to create great menus.
