Head Bartender

We are recruiting for a Head Bartender to join, lead and develop with our current bar team. You will already have experience in all aspects of mixology, and this is paramount to a successful application. Knowledge of fat washing, creation of flavoured syrup creations and much more will be an advantage to your application. Full training will be in place from day one from our specialist cocktail menu creator who has designed the menu exclusively for our guests taking a trip around with world here at Alora.

Flamboyant bartending is also an advantageous skill to have and demonstrate. We will be having guests sat at the bar, you must have the ability to speak and engage with these guests to add to their journey with us.

You will also be tasked with completion of ordering, inventory and all other tasks associated with being the main person behind the bar. You will set expectations, follow through and deliver exceptional drinks each and every day no matter the challenges.

  Alora is situated in the heart of Mapperley in Nottingham, headed up by 2 award winning chefs. We are opening a 72 cover, contemporary small plates restaurant and cocktail bar. · All the usual employment benefits, 28 days holiday, pension scheme and fixed day off (Sunday evening, Mon & Tues). There would be a few hours of work required on a Tuesday where all bar preparations are completed for the upcoming week.
