Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Systems Hardware Design Verifier to join our Rail Team responsible for ensuring that the hardware design and verification is delivered to the project schedule and to the required technical standards and specifications.,

  • Taking full recognition of the project concept, requirements and assurance plan, as well as the project scope and technical specification.

  • Attending Design Review meetings covering the designs produced

  • Interacting with other experts to solve and identify technical conflicts

  • Producing and verifying designs in line with technical standards and the company and customer standards

  • Actively seek to enhance processes in order to maximize the project margins

  • Keeping your IRSE log book up to date

  • Ensuring Engineering deliverables are on time and within budget

  • Meeting the delivery schedule for the project and identifying any issues that may affect the schedule

    Hold or working towards a Signalling Verifier licence

  • Proficient in the application of CAD packages

  • Control system product knowledge- including any limitations on how the products interface with other signalling subsystems and infrastructure assets

  • Strong time management and organisation skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills and good problem solving skills

  • A strong eye for detail and ability to critically review their own work

  • Team contributor and ability to work with other disciplines

    Salary/rate - depending on experience

  • Contract and permanent positions available
