Hairdressing & Barbering Tutor Assessor

In this exciting role, you will use your expertise, knowledge and skills to deliver and assess our Hairdressing qualifications and support and inspire each Learner to achieve an outstanding learning and assessment experience. Working closely with the Academy Director and the Hairdressing and Barbering team, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review of all activities within Hairdressing.

To excel in this role you will need to:

• Be passionate about supporting learners including the delivery and assessment of all apprenticeships, standards and full-time programmes.


• Enjoy working with young people to develop their personal skills and support them to develop and progress within their career.


• Deliver inspiring, engaging and interactive workshops.


• Monitor and review learner's progress and performance to meet their individual needs and aspirations.


• Liaise with employers on a regular basis with visits to the workplace to monitor the learner's skills and knowledge.


• Be creative and confident when dealing with groups of learners and on a one to one basis, tailoring training to individuals.
  
  Are you passionate about Hairdressing? Are you keen to share your skills with the next generation of Hairdressers in an engaging and fun environment? Would you like to join a friendly, inspirational Team of over 150 hairdressing professionals?, Be qualified up to Hairdressing Level 3 or have significant experience of 10 years or more in hairdressing.


• Assessor award (preferred, not essential).


• Be friendly and approachable and able to generate and develop fresh ideas.


• Have good organisations skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines and targets.


• Have a flexible approach.


• Hold excellent communication skills with a high level of personal presentation.
