Full Job Description

  • A day spent at Architect Hair is busy, fun, exciting and educational, you'll learn from award winning stylists in cut colour and styling and get to look after our lovely clients. Your duties will include...

  • Assisting stylists

  • Looking after clients

  • Reception work

  • On the job training through watching and assisting

  • Evening and day time salon training sessions on cut, colour and styling

  • Initially shampooing, but role grows quickly with experience

  • Ensuring the salon is tidy for client arrivals

    You will be trained to VCTC Hair Professional Standard Level 2 which will earn a Level 2 Diploma in Hair Professional., Communication skills, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent English, Maths (Grade 5 or above) Desired, Hairdressing professional

    Our apprentices start on minimum wage but with experience and commitment this is raised so that they are paid a higher rate.

  • At Architect you'll work average 4.5 days per week, attending college 1 day per fortnight. Days and shifts to be confirmed - Sample working week Monday 11.00 - 7.00 Tuesday college/off Wednesday 10.00 - 6.00 Thursday off Friday 12.00 - 8.00 Saturday 9.00 - 5.00, You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience.
