Full Job Description

Guest Ticketing Assistant for Festival Republic's UK Festivals. This department is responsible for processing, logging and distributing guest and general admission tickets for our UK events.,

  • Reporting to the Guest Ticketing Manager day-to-day in a team of 3 ticketing staff, as part of the larger Artist and Guest Liaison department.

  • Processing and distributing Guest and Complimentary tickets for UK-based Festivals via in-house Ticketmaster / Universe ticketing systems including sole responsibility for certain shows.

  • Liaising with internal departments on their ticketing requirements for each show and prioritising print order during exceptionally busy periods, up to show days.

  • Monitoring the Guest Ticketing Inbox and responding to ticket queries eg. from the public regarding e-tickets

  • Daily monitoring of ticket requests via shared folders, and maintenance of record keeping including logging of ticket numbers, ticket stock used, dates orders are requested, processed and emailed out. Accurate logging and an eye for detail are essential in this role.

  • Responsible for handling of high value ticket stock.

  • Working in the Guest Check In at several UK-based Festivals and troubleshooting / overseeing guest ticketing requirements on site. Dates are available for these events and while some are optional, the ability to work at certain key events is essential.

  • Experience of ticketing systems essential, e.g. Ticketmaster or similar though training will be provided.

  • Exceptional attention to detail required; the role requires accurate record-keeping, logging of ticket data and upkeep of shared documents which form basis for audits, a keen eye for spotting errors e.g. on email addresses.

  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Understanding of event pass structures or the event industry.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role would be a bonus.

  • You may have experience in the following roles: Box Office, Ticketing, Finance or Accreditation
