Group Financial Accountant

We are looking for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA individual to join our team as a Group Financial Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller to perform accurate and timely financial accounting, tax accounting and compliance of the group's monthly and annual reporting obligations.

In the role as Group Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the external auditors and internal finance team to deliver an efficient external audit process.

You will use your analytical skills to assist with the management accounting for the group holding companies as well as filling tax and fulfilling financial requirements and completing internal audit checks.

Accounting qualification - fully ACA qualified with audit experience gained in practice
Experience working in Big 4 or mid sized accounting firm
Relevant financial accounting experience including understanding of UK GAAP and tax principles
Strong technical accounting skills
Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload
Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at different levels
Ability to review and change existing procedures to improve segregation of duties and internal controls
Advanced Excel
Experience of Access Dimensions would be advantageous, though not essential
Good system & analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
