Full Job Description

BDElite are looking for a Graphic & Web Designer to join our growing company, the individual will work closely with the Leadership team and systems development team, including all areas of the business, to work on marketing campaigns, our multiple websites and systems, including apps. The individual will be forward thinking and expected to work on a variety of projects in digital and print media. This role requires an extremely organised person, who has strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential together with the ability to thrive in a busy customer-focused service environment. The individual will need to have a passion for all things design, showing enthusiasm and curiosity whilst displaying high standards to detail., GRAPHIC DESIGN / WEB / DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Provide inspiring innovation, pushing the boundaries of design excellence.

  • Collaborate with our developers and leadership teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Design and create website layouts, including APPS. User interfaces, graphics and icons using tools such as adobe photoshop, illustrator or sketch.

  • Design webpages using HTML and CSS, working closely with the development team.

  • Optimise web assets for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Lead the creation of graphic content, including but not limited to logos, branding material, marketing collateral, digital advertisements and web design.

  • Generate and develop original, strategic and impactful design concepts that align with the company's objectives and vision.

  • Maintain high standards of design quality, consistency and brand integrity.

  • Work closely with all teams to understand project requirements & define design objectives.

  • Create and implement effective marketing and communications plans.

  • Design, execute and manage external communications via e-mail, direct mail and social media.

  • Develop the company's range of marketing campaigns and day to day activities; co-ordination of updates to company websites and social media sites (e.g., LinkedIn).

  • Assist with the management, format and content of the company website.

  • Keep updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in graphic and visual design.

  • E-marketing - create marketing material to ensure all brokers are contacted and new products and services are promoted via our e-marketing facilities.

  • Proactively suggest, promote new and innovative ways of communicating with customers and stakeholders.

  • Identify, research and develop promotional opportunities.


  • PRODUCT RELEASES / UPDATES
  • Work closely with the Directors with regards to product positioning and promotion to the marketplace.

  • Manage and maintain version-controlled policy documentation for all products.

  • Deliver and maintain project plans, liaising throughout with the project team.

  • Review communication and marketing material to ensure the products are accurately promoted and described.

  • Attend Sales Meeting as and when required to provide marketing updates.


  • SELF MANAGEMENT
  • Able to work on their own and as part of a team.

  • Manage their own workload, prioritise tasks and projects, endure no backlog is allowed to develop.

  • To apply practical performance management solutions and to ensure that individual performance issues are dealt with in a timely, professional and legal manner.


  • PROJECTS
  • To work closely with the Leadership and Systems teams on any new and existing projects.

  • To assist and complete adhoc projects when required to help with the overall business development.


  • CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Maintain high standards of customer service.

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with BDElite clients and suppliers.

  • Work closely with all departments within the company.

  • Excellent language and customer services skills.


  • PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
  • To undergo training of the BDElite systems.

  • Willingness to progress towards relevant qualifications.

  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required as deemed appropriate.

    Graduate Level considered / 1-2 years' experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, would be advantageous.

  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe creative suite, Premier Pro, After effects, InDesign, Photo shop and Illustrator.

  • Knowledge and experience of using HTML and CSS.

  • Knowledge of WordPress, experience would be advantageous.

  • Ability to deliver projects within timescales.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, whilst maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.

  • Passion for creativity, design innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Numerate.

  • PC Literate - for example experience of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook., Can you confirm that you can commute to Bolton BL1 4AG daily to work?

  • Do you have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud?

  • Do you have experience in InDesign?

  • Do you have experience in using Figma or Adobe XD?

  • Do you have experience in using WordPress?
